I did the steps listed here except for the registry portion, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MIME\Database\Charset, I don't have another Windows XP available. After reboot, I checked all the items listed here to make sure its clean and installed Adobe Reader 8. It still have the same Xerces Panic Error.
