Hi; Have a random error with Microsoft Word 2003 The file resides on a File Server (Dell PowerEdge 2950) with Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition. Shadow Copy is enabled if this is important and also DFS to a backup server (Dell PowerEdge 2600) which also has Windows 2003 R2. The path to one of the files is as this: S:\Corporate HQ\Business Development\Bids and Proposals\ACTIVE PROPOSALS\NEW PROCEDURES\B's & P's WORKS IN PROGRESS\FJC PA13517 RFP\THE BUILD Less Costing\Phase 3 PreProduction\F2c-06 Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programsfinal.doc When I open that file or some of the other files I get this error: The document 'documentname.doc' caused a serious error the last time it was opened. Would you like to continue opening it. Has three buttons "Show Help >>" which tells you how to enable the document "Yes" or "No" After I click on "Yes" I get this error... Microsoft Office Word can try to recover it for you.
