  1. Put in ur legit copy cd and boot up with that cd, then select 'REPAIR' to reinstall the windows, it will ask for legit key and allow u to update. however this trick do work for windows with sp1, donno whether it works with sp2.

  2. Honestly, i haven't try with unattended network installation, and i'm not quite sure whether my suggestion will help...

    Try to use z:\i386\winnt /s:%SetupFiles% /u:%AnswerFile% /t:c:\temp.

    Have a try and let me know, if that help... will tryout unattended network instalation in my office in few days time.

  3. If that board doesn't give u any weird problem, then it is ok if for me. How about u? Besides that, depends on what u want the board to do with, for overclocking? is it the board provide enough feature for u? for simple use, is it stable? i think that board should be ok if for me. :)

  4. Did u create a virtual server in your router where external access from the outside will forward to ur apache server? Because u said u ever tried without using router. try create virtual server in your router with port 80 forwarded to the ip used by ur apache2 server. Hopes that help. BTW, which router u r using?

    Seem like installing this hotfix doesn't help much. I'm wondering how u get to know about this hotfixes?

  6. Here is my situation, i got a dhcp server, where it automatically distribute ip and DNS ip to each of the pc connected to the network. So win98, winME, winXP or win2K won't have anything shows up in the ip property. but each diff machine can go into my network and internet. There is some other ways to check whether ur PC connected by doing the following:

    start command prompt, type in "Ipconfig" or "ipconfig_all" then u can see all the information regarding ur ip and dns.

    So, y u use that method to include it in ur winnt.sif? Hopes that help.

  7. Really? :) everyone learned fast, but how much they can remember in the future? Unless u can apply it in ur daily usage of computer. Welcome to MSFN... here got lots of things for u and me to learn!

  8. ever try asus website's driver downloads for ur MB? From my reading at that page, they got a new all in one driver (nf2v116_wxp.zip) for NVidia chipset where it is newer than NVidia websites provided website. U can have a try with that driver.
