  1. Glad to see you on a computer! What you could do is go to www.hotmail.com when you are there, go to the top bar->favorites->add favorite (you will see it is now in your favorites list and can access it that way) if you want it on your desktop. Go to favorites, right click on favorites->left click on copy, close your web browser Right click on your desktop and left click on paste! It'll bring you right to hotmail so you can login
  2. I did that, it shows the policy being pulled down and applied. I can search the registry and under HKLM->software->policies I see w32time with the settings I have configured. When I go to HKLM-> currentcontrolset->system->w32time and check the parameters the server and time NT5DS option is not changed. So when I do a net time /sntpquery it shows the old server info, even though the policy portion shows the correct info.. am I doing something wrong?
  3. First off everyone, my 1st post here. I'm sure it won't be my last We have a standard image that all our computers are imaged from. It had a manual setting for the ntp server (usually has something like time.microsoft.com or something like that) I want to change it with group policy. I created an OU moved some computers over to it In GPO management tool went to computerconfig->admin templates->system->windows time service global config settings ->yes (left defaults) now go into time providers -> enable time providers-> enabled Settings changed in next screen NTPServer put in 3 servers separated by commas type: nt5ds left the rest of the defaults next setting ->enable ntp server - >not enabled (the servers these machines point to are enabled) I applied this to my test OU, removed all inheritance, and set the new policy to enforce. It doesn't work. Am I missing something?
