Hi all, I have my 2 pc's (with win xp pro) connected in a small network with a crossover cable. I use pc A. Pc B is used to do minor jobs such as for example share my internet connection for both pc's ,play music e.t.c. What i want to do is to use remote desktop so i can control pc B from pc A. In both computers i log in as administrator and i have put same name and password for both of them. When i run remote desktop on A it asks me to enter the remote computer name.So i put the lan adress of computer B for example : 192.168.1.2 (Is this correct?) After ,it asks me for username and password. So i do this . Have in mind that user name and password are the same for both pc's with administrator right. And then i get this error : From what i have read around the net probably i have to set the correct rights on pc B. But why is that? Since i have enabled remote desktop on pc B it says that the name of the administrator (which is the same with pc A) is already allowed to remote desktop . Anyway ,i then try to insert a new user on pc B with the rights to do remote desktop . But as you will see in the below picture there is no indication of pc A. Only pc B is shown to choose from (MIKROS is the name of pc B). Why is this? Should not i see in this window pc A also since these 2 pcs are networked together? So what would you advice me to do? Thx 4 reading this and sorry if i tired you but i tried to be detailed so maybe you can help me. The_Observer. P.S. I have searched this forum but unfortunatelly i didnt spot a solution for this
