Hello all, So I've managed to get my XP SP2 unattended to install without any errors replete with Office 2k3, all the critical patches, and all the drivers from DriverPack. My Mother used to always say, "if it's not one thing, it's the other" and it indeed appears to be that way. When XP did it's initial completion wizard (e.g. detecting network settings, choosing a name to log on with, register w/ MS, etc), the background music was present as was the audio when it automatically logged in as administrator (Windows XP Startup.wav). However, after Office 2k3 automatically installed, I noticed the audio was no longer present. At first I thought it was a drivers issue, but when I looked in the %systemroot%\media folder, all the of the sound files with the "Windows" prefix were renamed to shortcut names such as XPStartU, XPBalln, XPBattLow, XPCrt, etc., and thus, Windows was unable to find the sound file to associate with the event. Any idea how this happened or how it can be avoided? I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I did a search for "%systemroot%\media" and yielded no results. Thanks in advance! -M
