I understand that the unattended CD can add the computer to a network domain during the install process. This is a nice feature but my computers have a predicament. We've assigned computer numbers to each individual computer and those names are reflecting in their names on the domain. Is there a way to script an input box near the beginning of the install that allows me to input a variable that will be used when setting up on the network. Our network group policy installs software when computers join the network, i'm hoping to have this occur as a part of the unattended process.

I was wondering if there was a way to keep from installing a few components in the unattended MCE setup. Personally, I'd like to not install Plus or Sonic CD and DVD components. Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently under the assumption that simply deleting those cab's will allow for this, but a part of me says it will compromise the system
