I was also wondering if there was a codec package where I can download the Windows Media codecs. I really don't want to rebuild the install and reinstall my whole OS. I don't have any more CD's lying around and I don't have time to go out and buy. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to add the WM codecs back or a site to redownload them. I also tried using CCCP (www.cccp-project.net) to play the WMV files but MPC is unable to render the videos, so I'm guessing I would still need the codecs even if I do have ffdshow installed.

Alright, I will try and find a way to download the codecs but WMA/WMV isn't that important. Although I would like to know if anyone has a solution to the WMI Reverse Performance Adapter errors I am getting.

Anyone? This problem is really bothering me and I need help to fix it. Also I think I removed something that won't let me play WMV/WMA's, I think it might be something with the error messages. Even installing the codecs won't fix it.

I used vLite on Windows Vista Business x86.
