  1. This is just one account... not associated with any others. I also found something interesting... it seems that Windows XP has just forgotten the domain credentials alltogether. When I tried to do \\adserver on my coworkers machine, it asked for his password... when I did it on mine, it let me on to the \\adserver share. So it sounds like Windows XP (and essentially Outlook) forgets the domain credentials and prompts for them whenever my coworker tries to authenticate with this AD credentials. This is odd since he is using the same XP image as 70+ other people, and he is the only one with issues.
  2. Greetings... I did some searching and found one thread relating to this issue and I thought maybe I'd bring it up again... A coworker of mine had the unfortunate luck of having Outlook prompt him for his username / password and domain every time he opens Outlook. His account is not locked out and his authentication settings are properly set. This happened on his old PC under Outlook 2000 and the only way we remedied the situation was to whack his profile and start anew. After upgrading to XP and Outlook 2002 a couple months later, everything ran just fine... except for a couple weeks ago.... booom... it happened again. I'd rather not have to tell my coworker that we have to whack his profile every time this happens.... is there anything else that could be causing Outlook to prompt for his username / password and domain? Thanks! -E
