Hi, I'm working on a Compaq pc that does not come with any CDs, all of the installation files are on the recovery partition. Because the recovery files contain a lot of other installated applications and the computer is not my own (if it were mine, the recovery partition would have been long ago ) it's not an option for me to not utilize the recovery partition. I have installed a RAID controller which obviously needs 3rd party drivers installed. My questions is, is there any way to get these RAID drivers installed into the recovery partition? I've done some reading on 'slipstreaming' files onto CDs, but I need these drivers intstalled if the owner ever uses Compaq's recovery steps. Basically, I don't want to mess with Compaq's recovery process, I just want to add the additional drivers to the recovery installation so that they will be able to boot up the system after a recovery. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
