  1. protect you presentation is a easy thing !

Distribute a show within a show (the most easy way)

A Powerpoint newsgroup user (you know who you are, Glenna) suggests this devilishly devious trick:

Create and save your presentation as a PPS file.

Open a new presentation, click on Insert, Object, Create From File and select the PPS file you just created. Do not check the link or icon box.

  2. PowerPressed attempts to optimise a presentation where the following security property has been set and the file opened for ReadOnly Access:

    Password to Modify

An information dialog will appear automatically whenever a Modify Password Protected file is opened in ‘Read Only’ mode.

    Work Around Steps

Get Proper Passwords for Modify Password Protected File

    OR...

    1Open Read Only PowerPoint File

    2View Menu, Slide Sorter

    3Edit Menu, Select All

    4Edit Menu, Copy

    5File Menu, New, Blank Presentation

    6View Menu, Slide Sorter

    7Edit Menu, Paste

    8PowerPress the new PowerPoint file
