  1. I have found the name of the key that keeps popping up every now and then. It is called the "pipe key" which is made by pressing shift+\ key. Example "|Y" or "E|" like i said it doesn't happen with only that key. Any how like I said it occurs every now and then to different types of keys, and there is no way that I know of which capital letter will be affected next. Normally I would just reinstall the Office 2003 but i do not have administrator rights to do so. Jeremy
  2. I have come across a problem that I have never seen before working with word. It's hard to describe but, basically every now and then and it's not every time I try to capitalize a letter this symbol pops up next to the letter "|" It sometimes will pop up on the left or right side of the letter. Example: "|H" or "A|". Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this or at least tell me what is the name of this symbol? Thank you for your time and effort Jeremy
