Increasing your icon cache might help. Here's a registry tweak , be sure to back up registry first. Create a new string value, or modify the existing value, called "Max Cached Icons" and set it to "8192". This will increase the icon cache to 8MB (8192kb). Note: I have mine set @ 2000 and that setting did the job so you might try a smaller value first. Restart Windows for the change to take effect.
