  1. I have only just found this website and I am creating a recovery disk at the moment by following the very descriptive guide on this website. I quite like getting my hands dirty in the code so I'm trying to code everything as much as possible myself. My question is how do you guys plan out exactly what you want from your installation?? At the moment I have created a recovery CD that has SP2 and all the current updates available, so I am about to test this tonight. But I know there are numerous other things that I can do i.e. including drivers, applications, removing programs/links from the windows installation, editing the registry. There are so many options, I know what I want my recovery disk to do and hopefully I'll be able to find these on the forums. But I want to plan it all out beforehand so that I have a process to follow.
  2. I decided to do a clean reinstall this week, and thought I'd look into integrating Service pack 2 into the installation. How little did I know!! After looking at this site I am looking to create a new recovery disk that will save me a lot of time. I get a bit to excited last night and tried created a big list of programs to add, but in hindsight I think I may have been a bit eager. I'm going to create a new disk, but I will keep it simple with only software that I will definitely need.
