A. I established this by the fact IE tells me the page it's looking for at the bottom! B. Like I said I'm using a router which is working correctly on 3 other machines. (not a misconfigured server!) C. I tried flushing the DNS on the non working machine and this didn't work, why would I do it on the machines that do work? Did you actually read the post and have a look at the picture I posted or did you skim over it and fill in the blanks yourself? If you'd have read it properly then most of the questions you asked had already been answered. I did not come onto this forum to be insulted by what I can tell is a helpdesk wannabe who knows the names of a few tools that people at work have told him about. You obviously have no clue to the issue I'm having so please don't post for the sake of doing so.

I have a problem trying to sync 2 of my servers with the DC's. Every time I try to start the Windows Time service I get an error saying the logon service is not running, however it is. This a problem on 2 of our servers and is starting to cause problems as the backups are failing and one the machines is our file server. I have searched the net and found nothing so any help would be appreciated. I've tried various w32tm command and they return errors, I think because the service hasn't started. Please have a look at the screen shots below and let me know what you think. Regards

could someone tell me why there are 2 IP addresses in the wireless connection and why there are another 3 DNS entries. The connection is set to DHCP and is picking up an address, however all of the sites I try and visit the machine just looks to 1.0.0.0. If I enter a ip address for a site then it will go to the site, this is a problem in both IE and Firefox. The problem isn't the router either as I have 3 other machines happily running off it. Could some one please point me in the right direction. I have a surfcontrol server which has malware updates scheduled everyday. These updates keep failing through the schedule and manually doing them too. I appreciate updates will not be available everyday, however I would not expect to get an error. I have almost no experience using this software so any info will be helpful. Thanks

uncheck the auto register (something like that) option when installing. I bought the ultimate version and installed it on 3 of my pc's just to see what it was like. But I didn't register it once windows was installed. However when I cam e to register it I had one hell of a time as MS thought it had been installed on multiple machines. It wasn't until is said I had uninstalled it from all the other machines I was given a key.

I have been asked to do a presentation, in it I will have display figures from a excel spreadsheet. Does anyone know where I can get a Dashboard type plugin/display for Excel 2003 and 2007. My skills with excel are rubbish to say the least so instructions would also be helpful/welcome. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone have a sysprep.inf file that are already setup for multiply machines using XP? I need to create a ghost image that will work on a few various machines and laptops, however I'm struggling with the driver and HAL issue. Also I've been told there is a way to get around this problem using the registry in windows Vista. Thanks for the help

Is there anyone who can help me with my update issue. All of the nt4 boxes we have will not install the latest critical updates. They list them and download them, but when they come to install I get an unknown error and I'm taken back to the updates screen. I have installed updater 1 and tried to install 2 but the machine reports the service is already running. I would be grateful for any help in this matter.
