Hi. Just to let you know, the notifications are working now, I managed to make myself and administrator of the machine that was originally locaked down to just a normal user. Would that have caused the issue? Where does the download and comparison script run wit hthe product, maybe I didnt originally have rights to the folder? Grant.

Hi. My new network is behind a proxy and I am successfully able to configure the proxy options to download the "patches/files" successfully. But when I initially open WUD I use to get notification (before proxy) that there were new UL's availiable, but that does not seem to be working now. Does the notification mechanism use the same proxy username and password feature. Or is there and type of debugging I could use to find out what the problem is? Thanks Grant
