  1. Well, new issue ... Tried Via Rhine2 Nic drivers, Just copied into i386, started to boot from Network --> pnf files were created automatic !, ok ! Tried the same with Intel e1000 series --> nothing happens ... How to manually get this pnf files ... ?
  2. Thanks for fast reply, give me a hint ... I THINK I AM in mixed mode, I can choose between the "new" Longhorn setup to deploy Vista AND old RIS Services at PXE Boot ... Is THIS mixed mode, or do I have to do anything more ? If it is in mixed mode, just make a net stop wdsserver ? Sorry for that stupid questions, but I have my problems with WDS ...
  3. Got some serious problems in adding NIC Drivers to my Ris under 2k3Server with WDS. To deploy Vista I had to upgrade the RIS to WDS. To integrate some drivers to ris, I only had to copy the Nic Driver INF & SYS to my I386 Directory and Stop / Start the BINLSVC Service. The PNF File was created and the PXE Client was able to boot the Installation. With WDS, the BINLSVC Service is not there anymore, it is called WDSSERVER now. Starting and Stopping this Service doesn´t integrate the drivers. Maybe there is another way to integrate NIC drivers into the Risetups ? Anybody got some Ideas ? Everything I tried was a mess ... Just get the message, that the installation doesn´t have a driver for the network card ... Best Regards, Tom
