  1. I was having a lot of issues using nLite. Here's what I accidentally stumbled upon. If you run the program, the files, and everything all from the same drive( I used the C: drive), everything works beautifully. Originally I had files in one drive, the source for the ISO in another drive, and the program running from my C: drive. This wasn't the smartest idea but it happened that way since that's how I kept my files. I figured since I was gonna be formatting the C: drive anyway that I'd just copy everything to the C: drive, and do everything from there. As it turns out using nLite 1.2.1 and .net framework 2.0, it worked flawlessly! Looks like I am a new user and new fan of nLite! I didn't need any other programs, and all my hotfixes and programs loaded onto the ISO smoothly and the ISO was a nice 800 meg. Now to actually do the install and see what happens ^_^ Wish me luck!
  2. Thanks a bunch, I guess nLite isn't for me...
  3. Ok i was able to make an ISo with just windows xp and i implented RyanVM hotfix and update pack with it. the problem is the ISO keeps showing as only 10.3 meg. Is that a normal size? that seems ridiculously small for an ISO that has XP and the hotfixes on it. It made the ISO in like 2 seconds. Did I do something wrong?
  4. I'll give it a shot with the older nLite
  5. First time posting. Using latest copy of nLite 1.2.1 as well as the latest version of the .net framework 2.0. Created a XP sp2 setup in nlite with only some keyboard and language files removed. Went to finalize by creating the ISO and nLite just sits with an empty Progress bar and the status saying: Preparing. This went on for 5 hours before I just canceled it out. I've tried 4 times with fresh re-installs. I'm running it off an XP Pro SP2 system and this is the first time I've never been able to create an ISO. It also does this when i try to burn straight to dvd. Any suggestions folks? I've searched through the forum search engine and have yet to find anyone with this issue or a solution.
