U proved Ure not I went thru Nuhis guide to using nLite (wasnt mentionet that its the same thing to add patches&software) i went thru MSFNs "complete begginers guide to unattended..." just couldnt catch it there... i tried searching but finished up reading pages about everything else... I really wasnt lazy... tired & unlucky maybe.... I made the poll just to kill me and you some time and for the fun of it ( its my first forum poll int the wholeWideWeb ). Thanx to all and sorry if I offended some princeses NO HARD FEELINGS and btw I dont need you any more so screw you all ( just kidding again, I`m a funny guy, with a funny hat ) Keep up the good work everyone... exsqueze me, have you any mustard? just to inform you all...... This "nLite noob" just successfully finished instaling his first nLited win XP on his first virtual PC all went perfectly... thanx people

what about the option "Program files path" under "general" ? does it redirect everything to the new path than? I hoped there would be some code to add to the .inf file for redirecting the .cab packed software to specific path... no? heh.. never mind... this is good enough... Thanx man youve been more than resourcefull..

I see no one is interested in helping me and its such an easy question... so I`m rplying to myself to make this topic rplyed lookalike and mybe attract some of you to read/answer my noob question... I`m sitting with nLite running waiting for someone to tell me whats my next step... So... I`ve downloaded a bunch of software, cab files for silent install... My question is... where do I add them? I`ve managed to add hotfixes... well theres a window in nLite... just select and add.. that was easy... But where do I add those .cab addons with software? (how?) Can I specify the partition which I want them to install into or do they go to "C:\Program Files" by default? Thanks for all the shoes, I mean quick rply
