  2. Hi all, The reason I ask this is that I inadvertently removed the Jet Database Engine, and it seems that it's required for my favorite MP3 renaming program. I don't want to get rid of all the work I've done in the past few days setting everything up, so I came up with this: Recreate nlite CD image with lastsession.ini loaded except with Jet Database unchecked. Then I would boot from CD and do a repair install so that all my programs would remain but hopefully Jet Database Engine would be installed, with everything else as it was. Would this work in your opinion? Thanks! -Alex
  3. Hello everyone, I'm new here so I guess I'll introduce myself.. I'm Alex from PA (one of about a million). I've used nlite on my Windows XP home install about 11 times in the past year trying to get the perfect install cd, but unfortunately it never happens.. something is always missing or screwed up. Last one I took out the ping and tracert commands, this time I messed something up with networking.. So yeah, here is my problem, hopefully someone has some suggestions on how to fix it because I don't want to spend another day reinstalling everything and creating another CD. When I go to My Network Places and try to add a share (ie "\\office\c" ) it doesn't even try to connect, just gives the message "folder doesn't appear to be valid, please try another blah blah blah." But, the folder is 100% valid and I can access it from other computers. Also when I try to add a network printer ( \\office\printer ) it does the same thing. Well, that's pretty much it. Thanks to anyone who can help me! edit: **** already screwed up. Forum rule #4.. Could a mod please move this to the nlite forum?
