Hi ! I just ran accross Windows Update after testing my Windows 2003 Server (Enterprise Edition) unattended dvd and see that it reports the 816093 fix missing. It is a fix for the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine, which I thought wasn't included on Windows 2003. The page for the fix (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-011.mspx), says : So, it does not include Windows 2003. So how come that I should install the hotfix for it, if it is not supposed to be there ? I did what the page says too (typing JView from the command-line) and jview is indeed there... I have the Sun Java Runtime Environment 2 installed, but certainly not MS one and no java applets were able to run before the Sun's JRE setup... Thank you very much for your answers.

Man, how could I miss it !!! I was rather searching on the security options... Thanks for the advice regarding security, I know that too, but I only receive email from trusted users at work and we have a powerful antivirus solution, so the risk is rather slim. We also receive data emails that are html formatted and they look like crap and are not readable at all in plain text. Thanks again.

Hi guys, I am using Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition. I have a little (but annoying) problem with Outlook Express : I can't read HTML emails. If people send me html mails, they look like they were plain text. Instead, I have the html file as an attachment. I checked the security (and many others) settings and I see nothing to change this behavior ? Do you know how to enable reading html mails in Outlook Express (srv-03) Thanks !

Check that it is not already the name of your actual workstation (not the virtual machine). Computer names must be unique across the network. When you run the virtual machine, Windows setup sees that there is already a "Ben001" machine on the network and thus changes the machine name. It is the only explanation I see... Try installing your unattended cd for real (not on the VM) and you should see there are no problems.
