I've been trying to find a solution to this annoyance for days now. All I've discovered is that it seems related to opening / moving certain .avi files (or, in my case, downloading them using bittorent). One solution offered was as follows: Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeVideo.ax rename it C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeVideo.ax1 It hasn't worked for me, however.
