  1. how do you remove that stupid dell oem branding you get when you use a dell recovery cd? you know the one that sits in your system info next to your product key?
  2. I may have removed the hardware support when I was sliming the cd down, I got a little crazy with removing things. I think I removed just about everything my system didn't absolutely need to function. I'll try my origional xp cd and see if I got lucky and didn't remove hardware support for the device
  3. I tried plugging my camera into my computer today to copy the pictures I took at the autoshow but I deleted the drivers for memory sticks so how do I get them back?
  4. if you have tight security settings you'll have to make a user account giving access to said xp machine.
  5. I adjusted my font dpi in vista to 128 dpi because I use a LCD moniter which has a very high resolution but now some of my context shell menu's arn't using the same size font as the rest of my system and it's driving me insane. heres a screen shot http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/pus...pg?t=1170409824 does anyone know how I can force the other parts of the shell to use the same DPI?
  6. there used to be a guy on here that released update packs for post sp2 installs allowing your system to be completely up to date without ever having to go through the hassle of downloading all the updates but I can't seem to find the link so if someone could point me in the right direction.
