  1. Thanks, boooggy. I found out that my source did have the gameenum.sys file already (in the driver.cab file) but did not have the gameport.inf file. So, on an original XP disc, I found that the gameport.in_ file was in the i386 folder, and the gameenum.sys file was in the driver.cab file. The only other driver I need to install is the Creative AudioPCI driver, which includes these files: drmk.sys es1370mp.sys ks.sys ksproxy.ax ksuser.dll portcls.sys stream.sys **wdma_ens.inf **wdma_ens.pnf The last 2 files are the only ones missing from my source, and on a regular XP installation disc wdma_ens.inf is in the i386 folder. Would I be ok just putting in gameport.inf and wdma_ens.inf into my i386 file, making it the same as a regular size XP disc?
  2. Hey, everyone . New here. I found the msfn guide a while back and finally got around to customizing an install disc for myself. So, I have a pretty small version of XP SP2 and only have 3 drivers and about 4 apps to integrate. Everything is going fine except that I'm not sure how to integrate gameenum.sys. The other 2 drivers have .INF files associated with them, so by using the winnt.sif method from the guide I'm sure they'll install okay. But what about gameenum.sys? I have searched around and can't find any other files associated with it. Gameenum.sys is for the Creative Game Port on my Creative AudioPCI card. So if I just throw the file into the driver folder, will Windows setup even see it? It seems like there should be a .INF file with it, but I'm new to all of this and there isn't too much info on this anywhere. Anyone have any input on a way to make this work? Thanks, net
  3. Anyone know which switch could be used with this? Or what the installer package is? Thanks, fly, for doing cleaning this up!
  4. Hi, I've a slimmed down version of XP Pro SP2 (source) that doesn't have gameenum.sys or joy.cpl. I have been successful in integrating the drivers with .inf files using the methods in the msfn guide, but I am wondering how I should integrate this system and .cpl file into the source manually. I'm sure I'll have to edit something, just not sure what. Anyone have any advice?
