[Why do I get so many undeletables in Vista?]

Every other file I try to delete Windows says I can't. Why does this keep happening? Only when I reboot does Vista let me delete the files. I tried Unlocker but the app tells me it found no locking handle and when I tell it to delete a file it can only do it in a reboot which defeats the purpose of the app to me. I'm often doing something that would make rebooting a great annoyance. Is there some background process in Vista that I can disable so this undeletable stuff will stop happening?

I have an autofix.exe program that did that in WinXP but it crashes in Vista. I don't ever remember autoplay working at all since I installed Vista.

Turned out it was the ffdshow I was using. Weird because I used this same ffdshow version in WinXP...

Things sound more hollow now. I'm not a sound guy so I wouldn't know what to change to make it sound like on winxp. I first installed the Audigy 2 ZS driver through windows update then I installed the driver package from Creative hoping that would fix the hollow sound.

[WMP crashes in high quality mode]

When I change the video mixing renderer in WMP from overlay to high quality mode(which I've read is VMR7) WMP crashes. I already tried a WMP and DirectX re-install.

How can I disable this. My keyboard already comes with an app that has a volume bar display.

Edit Update: It's due to ehtray which can be disabled in msconfig.
