i thought it was logon.scr but when i reshack it and replace the bitmap and save it to the desktop then replace it in system32, then i right click desktop>screensaver and it still says xp pro! i executed logon.scr on my desktop and it worked! but i noticed windows is replacing my logon.scr with the default windows one.

i im trying to locate the default XP Screensaver named Windows XP and reshack it. Then Replace it on my i398 folder on my windows disk so when i reinstall my custom screen saver will be there.

anyone has any idea how often ms updates LegitCheckControl.dll, WGAtray.exe and WGAlogon.dll (genuine valadition tool & notifications)

hi, you guys know the tool http://www.firewallleaktester.com/removewga.htm right! i would like to make something like this but instead of removing the wga, i have a patched wgatray.exe legitcheckcontrol.dll and wgalogon.dll. i tried using packagers to extract the files to system32 but since wgatray.exe is running it cant replace. the wgaremove.exe tool when executed asks you if you want to remove wga when you click yes it asks you to restart and when restarted wga is gone! so i want to do the same thing with the restart but instead of delete command i want replace! so when restarted the patched wga is there (no notifications) thanks.

i would like to know if i need another file to get the "loading" bar (percentage) to work, it just says loding 83%. Does it even work? although the normal bar on the side WORKS Thanks Alot

i did not cab it i just modifype and replaced it, i downloaded virtual pc and the winntbbu.dll works but the middle bottom there is a percentage thing on "lilwierddude" DOES NOT WORK, the normal bar comes up on the side! i want to know if that is how it is or i need other files for this one. oh and the 103 image has 83% default http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38610&hl

my xp cd has winntbbu.dll instead of winntbbu.dl_ so what should i do? keep my modifyed winntbbu as winntbbu.dll or delete the winntbbu.dll and add my winntbbu.dl_

ok thanks, i am browsing the i398 folder and i see brand.in_ when my xp installs brand will be automatically added to the registry? i think its finally complete, i am going to add the update. Thnaks Again!

i copied the reg2inf.exe to desktop and typed reg2inf title.reg title.inf it said complete. i also did the same with brand.reg (start menu thing) it said complete, now i have 2 inf this is all i understand up to. do i have to copy the above and save it as entries.ini? thanks

hi please view this post http://www.theeldergeek.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19909 i would like to "locate the registry" on my xp installer disk to add these key in the above post, so that when i install xp on a new machine the start menu link under 'run' and the custom Internet Explorer Title will be there automatically so i dont have to run any scripts after install to change title etc. The Elder Geek Members told me to use Reg2inf Converter but in order to convert or add my keys, i must first find my registry files right? all the code is there in the post. I know it is possible because Dell Windows XP has "Dell Resource Center" in there start menu under 'run' so that is what i want to do, but i want to place a link to my website instead of "Dell Resource Center" My Windows XP Disk is NOT a Dell Windows XP (I Already Added OEM Info etc. it is working good) And the Internet Explorer Title will Display My Company Name instead of "Microsoft Internet Explorer". So for this to be done i must add these keys for title and start menu to the default registry on xp cd. Thanks Please Reply ASAP
