  1. OK, more feedback. I rebooted my VISTA laptop and tried again. Despite my previously stated expectations, it did NOT work. I then rebooted the XP Home Edition DESKTOP and tried again, and it DID work. Is this truly an XP Home Edition issue? Anyone have a viable solution? TIA!
  2. I'm trying to copy files FROM a Windows VISTA Business laptop to a Windows XP Home Edition shared drive. I can copy thousands of small fiels (< 1 MB or so) all day long. However, if I try to copy larger files (> 6+ MB or so), it may or may not work. When it does fail, I get: Error 0x800705AD Insufficient quota to complete the requested service There are NO quotas in place anywhere. The irony is that it is NOT consisent. I might get this error on a 9 MB file, then a few hours later, that same file might copy just fine. For instance, I tried to copy an 72 MB file yesterday, and got this error. Today, I just finished copying a 600+ MB file AND a 160+ MB file, SUCCESSFULLY. Then, trying a 70 MB file failed with this error message. I don't know for sure, but suspect I could reboot and then successfully copy the 70 MB file. It's crazy. Any all help much appreciated. TIA! - John
