  1. In pre-Vista times I lived on WindowsXP and a fully, officially modded up IE6.* browser. The 'mod' that brought me back, mostly, from a couple of Firefox experiences, was the MSN Toolbar - it included a tabbed browsing feature. Once I had my tabs all set up (a quick and easy process), they became a permanent part of the IE 6 system. And then I made the mistake of installing IE7 Beta 2. As any former user of IE6 with the MSN Toolbar installed will tell you, "Some really cool moves have been added to 'The Toolbar', but BEWARE! They have substituted the MessageBox continuation dialogues with a session closing dialogue that said "Save Tabs? Y/N?" And it is this very poorly conceived MessageBox content that, I am sorry to say, can and probably will be a leading software design flaw that flattens the entire mission of the IE7 team. The problem is that damned message! The user is given no other continuation options! If you chose 'Yes', after opening a new session, you would find that your Favorite Tabs are permanently gone. If you had selected 'No', the software would have interpreted that as "No. Not the currently open ones, but the ones you have set as your default Tabs." and all would have been well for the next time. The IE7 User Interface guys had better come back home and clean up the after-party litter. MESSAGE!! You've got it assbackwards, folks.
