when I tried that in the recovery console prompt, it said command not recognized, type help for recognized commands. system restore wasn't in the list

Is there a way to use access system restore when the safe mode command prompt only doesn't work? None of the XP startup options work for me and recovery console doesn't let you run the utility (unless theres another way, but it won't let me run the executable like a command prompt would) Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. --Sonic
