Liv2bld
First let me start off by saying that I have this working for Intel SE7221BK1-E Board which uses the MegaIDE driver for it's embedded SATA Raid. I got a new server board (SE7230NH1LX) which uses the same driver, but the Intel download page had a newer version of the same driver (MeagIDE). I have updated all existences of MegaIDE in the appropriate places and tested with a se7221bk1-e and it still works. However, when I try with the new SE7230NH1LX Board, Windows setup does not find any hard drives. I also went through and updated my intel inf section to the latest but still no luck. After poking around, I found that this new board supports SATAII. I am guessing that this new feature means that maybe the pci vendor osd is different for this and it wasn't updated n the driver?? I am going to try the old fashioned F6 with the MEGAIDE driver tomorrow to see if it works, but does anyone have any advice as to what to look at next? Thanks,Ted

Liv2bld
I had to use the force driver load method, and it works. I never did find any explanation of why this happened. Maybe things will chnag for the better with vista and longhorn.Ted
