The following are some commonly misused registry tweaks that I have stumbled upon while reading some posts. If you have a question about a particular registry tweak, feel free to reply.

"AlwaysUnloadDLL=1"-works only for systems prior to Windows 2000, newer systems automatically unload unused DLL's

"LargeSystemCache=1"-reserves some system memory, but not all, toward speeding up writing files to disk, thus not much help toward improving game performance

"Max Cached Icons=x"-supposedly increases the icon cache; unneeded for Windows XP as its cache has not limit

"SecondLevelDataCache=x"-should only be used with processors older than AMD K6-2 and Intel Pentium 2 when the HAL cannot detect it otherwise; newer processors are reportedly slower if this key is set to any number other than zero
