prathapml
Copy away and save this file:%ProgramFiles%\mIRC\mirc.iniKeep that file on your CD somewhere, and restore it to the right folder after mIRC install, using batch-files or something.Or, even better:1. Install mIRC 6.162. Configure it to how you want.3. Copy away "%ProgramFiles%\mIRC" to somewhere.4. Put that folder now on your CD "$OEM$\$Progs\mIRC"5. And the shortcut to it - "$OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\mIRC.lnk"That's it.

prathapml
can i delete any lines i don't want, but still allow it to work?Yes, you can. In fact, that's the right way to go about it.If I wanted to configure the sounds in mIRC.ini, I'd just leave behind those configured lines - and delete the rest. Default settings (like always) will be used for whatever lines you deleted (in other words, whatever settings was left unconfigured due to deleting will revert to defaults). Enjoy!
