2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3250620AS 250GB

2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST380815AS 80GB

XP WANT TO USE NO VISTA

:ph34r: hope not a dum question.i like to set this up the best way possible.i need to know if i should raid (one drive has different firmware ST3250620AS 250GB) or na just leave 4 seperate drives C:os d:apps e:games f:data

also the bios settings are confused please help thank you

dont bother with RAID, you really don't need it.

have you decided on AMD, have you look at Intel's Core 2 Duo at all? Intel's Core 2 Quad will be very cheap in a month

anyways, the only thing that i would change would be the sound card. there is a new sound card that creative and auzentech are making, the Auzen X-FI Prelude, http://www.auzentech.com/site/products/x-fi_prelude.php

this card will own! but go for the x-fi if you want something cheap..

yes i know me bought this 3 months ago now i see the e6600 C2D is now 225.00 from the over $300.00 range:)

guess it does look good anyways for the x-fi does it go in the very last pci slot theres only 2

Better if you add an extra gig of RAM on your PC if you plan to use it for gaming. RAM prices are quite cheap these days.

3gigs just sounds awkward, go for 4. you can get some 4 gig sets for under 250$

need firmware the latest or 3.AAC my drives are @ 3.AAA Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST380815AS 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

I don't want to wait hours on phone with seagte to get it

can anyone help
