poetfreak
what does this mean, and how do I fix it? Running W2K SP4 with updates. My only thought is maybe disKeeper is defraging the file at that moment and so it can't get access... but I assume it would wait a second gracefully and try again. I don't know. I'll try it all again with DisKeeper off...
the0ry
it's never really a good idea to run any programs while a defragmentation is occurring. many files will be locked during the defrag. Edited June 16, 2007 by the0ry
poetfreak
Yep, that was the problem. Maybe nLite could detect if diskeeper was running, and stop the service to do it's thing then restart it. It's never caused problems with any other program but this is a very low level task so I understand what happened. Or at least put a warning in a readme.
