Went to drag a movie on windows movie maker and got this:

Do you want to edit a .mov file with Movie Maker?

I don't think that Coda will help you but here is the download link Coda Codec Pack v3.3

The Codec pack will allow you to watch a MOV file, you won't be able to edit it with movie maker. AVI's MPG or MPEG files are support by movie maker,
