Cyborg_sa
I used nlite to integrate updates & drivers in Windows XP. Later I made a multiboot ISO having the same nlited setup. Now when I select to install Windows it asks me to insert a floppy labeled Windows XP SP2 CD. How can I solve this problem?
Godzilla
What does your folder-structure look like?Did you copied the WIN***-files in the root of the multiboot? There is a fiule with *SP2* in the filename. This identifies your disk as an winxp-sp2-disk. Cyborg_sa
My folder structure looks like this:G:\CD_Root\WXPA.DATG:\CD_Root\WXPA\G:\CD_Root\BOOT\G:\CD_Root\OS\G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\SETUP.EXEG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51IPG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\README.HTMLG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\SETUPXP.HTMLG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51IP.SP2G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\CMPNENTSG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\DOCSG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\I386G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\SUPPORTG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\VALUEADDAfter I integrated my system drivers using nLite, I noticed a new folder named NLDR under I386 folder. under this folder there were sub-folders named 001, 002 etc that contained my system drivers.I tested Windows XP SP2 Multiboot ISO without integrating drivers & it works fine. Godzilla
I think Windows is searching for this NLDR-folder in <CD_Root>\I386But the folder is now in <CD_Root>\OS\XP\PRO\I386But I don't know.Maybe you should ask somebody in the official nLite-Forum. Or wait until anybody answers here.
kof94
If your going to re-site the Windows XP setup files you will need to update txtsetup.sif of their new location. This is all explained in Flyakite's guide!
Cyborg_sa
I updated the TXTSETUP.SIF too but in vain.
kof94
By looking at your disc layout I can see your missing your tag files from the root of the disc. I know you have them in your new locations but you must have them at the root of the disc as well. Just to clarify, take these files and copy them to the root of your disc (G:\CD_Root\)!G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51G:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51IPG:\CD_Root\OS\XP\PRO\WIN51IP.SP2This will more than likely fix your problem. Cyborg_sa
kof94 thank you very much. I noticed it before u mentioned. I found 2 was to solve this problem. 1st way was your way. The second is to edit TXTSETUP.SIF to change the location of these tag files, for those people that prefer not to copy tag files to the CD/DVD root. I'd never really thought about your second method before, that's not a bad idea.
