spacesurfer Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Type %userprofile% in the search box in start menu (or in Run). It will bring up all your personal folders. Right-click download --> location tab --> move location --> pick where you want your downloads to go.Done.You can change the location of all the other folders as well like Documents, Music, Pictures, Contacts, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
neo Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Open Registry Editor (Type regedit in Run dialog box and hit enter)and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet ExplorerNow check the string (REG_SZ) value named Download Directory, change the path according to your need.Restart IE to take effect.
