bestleonard Posted June 9, 2007 Share Posted June 9, 2007 Running just two PCs, both with Media Edition, SP2,Both have file and print sharing, Client for MS networks,tcp/ip enabled.With the ‘new’ one, I can ping the other PC but cannot map a drive toA shared folder. I get the error: ‘Drive could not be mapped because no network was found’The other error I get is trying to share folders on the ‘new’ PC.I get the error:An error occurred while trying to share documents.The server service was not started. The shared resource was not createdAt this time.So, I went to services and started 'server service' I got the same erroragain, when trying to share a folder.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thanks,B.Leonard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
