mr-data
I have a problem with my copy of Office 2003 student edition. It causes my computer to "freeze"/lock up at random points, so that Windows will not even respond when I press "Ctrl+Alt+Delete". I have tried the following methods, in attemps to cure this problem:1. Un-installed Office, restored Windows to a restore point created before Office where installed, and the re-installed. 2. With a suspicion that it might where something in my Windows installation, I tried to back-up my files, and re-install Windows. Office was then installed after Windows had been re-installed.In both cases, it did not work, and I am running out of idea's about what I can do (except from switching to Open Office.org or the like). And now I am wondering: Does any of you suffer with the same problem? Some information on my system:MB: Gigabyte GA-7VM400M.CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400+Ram: 1 stick of 512 MB Elexir PC3200, and 1 stick of Kingston 256 MB PC3200HDD: Some old Western Digital.Optical drive: An old Sony DVD-reader with CD-burner.Graphics: Club3D GeForce 5200OS: MS Windows XP Home Edition, in Danish. Installed with Service Pack 2, all the latest WHQL-drivers.My office pack is "MS Office 2003 edition for students and teachers", in Danish. I thank you for your help in advance.
