dahak Posted October 19, 2003 Share Posted October 19, 2003 Hi, im new to these forums, found out about them through looking for a good unattend install guide, which you guys have a good one.The main question I have is, for the Update Rollup 1, after downloading and install the 9mb install file it doesnt seem to have updated anything for me. I have a slipstreamed SP1 Install cd done(fresh install), and before and after install the Update Rollup 1, the number of critical/recommended updates has not changed at all. XtremeMaC Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 is it a newly installed xp?otherwise you might have already installed those updates that are included in the rolluprollup is just a combination of updates so If you installed the previous hotfixes it probably won't installanyways did you get an error during the installalso check the log file in c:\windowsI somehow don't have one on the rollup maybe I've deleted it I don't know but you should have it...
