crobertson
I have a network with a domain (the main reason I wanted to use this program). I enter the domain information, including the default Administrator username/password and after I install, it never has the domain set. It always shows part of workgroups.Am I not setting this correctly? Has anyone gotten this to work correctly?
Bigbrit
Maybe you should give us a few details about (this program), are you talking Nlite or something else ??What is your Server product i.e. Server 2000/2003 etc.
crobertson
Sry, just our xp machines using nlite. Since we were in the unattended (nlite) forum and it appears to be the same interface for xp/2003, I just assumed.

crobertson
Well I figured out part of the answer. I realized soon afterwards that the network card had a problem. Then when attempting the reinstall, I found that the network card driver wouldn't load. Somewhere in the nlite settings, some option is disabled NOT letting me install the network card.What could it be? Below is my INI, if someone can give me an idea what is wrong.In addition I selected ctrl+alt+del enabled. It doesn't do that, but uses the welcome screen. Even though I selected a default new user (in addition to Administrator) the startup screens ask me for another username![Main]Env = 1.3.5 - 2.0.50727.42.Microsoft Windows NT 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2Target = Windows XP Professional SP:2 - 5.1.2600.2180 - English (United States)[Tasks]Remove ComponentsUnattended SetupTweaksCreate a Bootable ISOOptions[Components];# Compatibility #Compat01Compat02Compat11Compat13[KeepFiles]msconfig.exe[RemoveFiles]clock.avi[Options]ProfilesDir = "%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings"TargetPath = "WINDOWS"temp_dir = %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\TempAdvTweaks[Patches]DoUxTheme[services2][Tweaks]Boot and Shutdown-Auto-Kill hung services immediatelyBoot and Shutdown-Ctrl-Alt-Del at logon-EnabledBoot and Shutdown-Numlock-OnBoot and Shutdown-Status Messages-DefaultDesktop-Internet Explorer icon-ShowDesktop-My Computer icon-ShowDesktop-My Documents icon-ShowDesktop-My Network Places icon-ShowDesktop-Recycle Bin icon-ShowExplorer-Add 'Command Prompt' to folder context menuExplorer-Change Explorer Folder View to: detailsExplorer-Classic Control PanelExplorer-Disable Prefix: Shortcut toExplorer-Show extensions of known file-typesExplorer-Show Map Network Drives buttons in Explorer barExplorer-Show the full path in the Address BarExplorer-Use small icons in Explorer barInternet Explorer-Set Homepage-www.google.comInternet Explorer-Set popup-blocker to highNetwork-Remote Desktop-EnablePerformance-Disable Info Tips on Files and FoldersPerformance-Disable Last accessed Timestamp on filesPerformance-Disable Optimize harddisk when idlePerformance-Disable Warn on low disk spacePerformance-Disable WBEM loggingPerformance-Do not cache thumbnailsPerformance-Enable USB Idle Endpoint supportPerformance-Processor scheduling-ProgramsPerformance-Run 16-bit Windows applications in a separate processPrivacy-Disable Error ReportingPrivacy-Remove AlexaSecurity-Screensaver Password-Protection-EnabledStart Menu-My Computer-Display as a linkStart Menu-My Documents-Display as a linkStart Menu-My Music-Display as a linkStart Menu-My Network Places-Display as a linkStart Menu-My Pictures-Display as a linkStart Menu-Number of programs on Start menu-10Taskbar-Disable Balloon TipsTaskbar-Disable Group similar Taskbar buttonsTaskbar-Disable Language-BarTaskbar-Lock the Taskbar-YesVisual Effects-Active window tracking-DisableVisual Effects-Active window tracking speed-FastVisual Effects-Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing-DisableVisual Effects-Combo box animation-DisableVisual Effects-Cursor shadow-DisableVisual Effects-Fade out selection-DisableVisual Effects-Gradient captions in windows-DisableVisual Effects-Keyboard shortcut underline-EnableVisual Effects-Menu animation-DisableVisual Effects-Menu shadows-DisableVisual Effects-Menu style-NormalVisual Effects-Show translucent selection rectangle-DisableVisual Effects-Show window contents while dragging-DisableVisual Effects-Slide taskbar buttons-DisableVisual Effects-Smooth edges of screen fonts-DisabledVisual Effects-Smooth-scroll list boxes-DisableVisual Effects-Tooltip animation-DisableVisual Effects-Use a background image for each folder type-DisableVisual Effects-Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop-DisableWindows Media Player-Zoom video to windowsize[unattended]UnattendMode = 1ComputerType = DefaultHibernationNoResolution = 1024x768DisableSRestoreMaximumDataStorePercentOfDisk = 12RestorePointLife = 30DesktopTheme = Media Center style|Royale|Normal sizeIISInstall = 2DataExecProt = 4AutoUDay = 5AutoUHour = 15AUElevateProgFilesPath = "\Program Files"[DesktopThemes]C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna.themeC:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royale.ThemeC:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Windows Classic.theme[NetAdapter1]connname = ""macaddress = ""ipaddress = "192.168.0.1"subnetmask = "255.255.255.0"defaultgateway = "192.168.0.1"dnsserver1 = "192.168.0.198"dnsserver2 = "69.1.30.43"winsserver = ""netbiossetting = "0"ipxnetworknumber = "00000000"ipxnetworkframetype = "0xFF"[GuiRunOnce][Drivers][Hotfixes]
