Nastradamus
Does it solve the "windows file protection" problem? when you install drivers in a clean windows installation That apparently isn't nLite's fault. It appears that slipstreaming SP2 triggers the problem. No !I have the official CD of WIndows XP Pro SP2 from Microsoft and I have the same problem !I could not intall NVidia Drivers because I have this fu.... popup "windows file protection".And I don't know if it's cause of NLite but if I make manual install of my drivers, I have access refused at the end...... AgiHammerklau
Are you sure that it is the "windows file protection" and not depending on the "driver signing policy" ? AgiEDITForget, what I said above.Reckecked in the german nlite forum and found out, that´s depending on the source. The regkeys differ if you use an SP1 or SP2 CD.Agi Edited May 19, 2007 by AgiHammerklau

powerup
Hello nuhi! First of all good work !I have a little suggestion for you from all of us dial-up users. Will you please keep the language pack separate and provide only Enlish nLite download mirror? Since that will save much space even the 1.3.0.5 or the last one without the languages was compressed in just ~1.5MB saving about half MB! Looking forward to your reply nuhi ! tap52384
There is a tweak for Windows XP made by a program called Pitashio that can allow you to double-click in the white space of a Windows Explorer window and go to the parent folder. Is this a registry tweak, and if so, can it be included in nLite?

RaGhul
@nuhiJust saying hi, and thx!! Last few versions have worked flawlessly for me. I would like to see more 'removal' options, though, in future releases. And, if you could, maybe a little more detail in some sections, to make it easier to decide what we can/can't remove.Keep up the excellent work! RaGhul
@nephDid you install VM Tools? Also, check your addons. Some addons contain tweaks which could conflict with those in NLITE.
maxkohl
hi nuhi, I'm not sure where to post feature request, but could you please add these two registry tweaks:1. select the default keyboard language when having added multiple ones by nlite:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload]2. add a password hint for the welcome screen (a per-user setting, here's for admin):[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Hints\Admin]thanks for your time & this great project!
