anlaoch
Dunno if I'm just stupid, but where the value in the raid/sata part of the unattended guide sets the [sCSI] value at:[sCSI] si3112 = "Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATALink Controller"...the nearest thing I could find in the txtsetup.oem file was: VIARAID_MULTIPLE_XP = "VIA RAID Controller(Windows XP)". So, if I've been referring to "viamraid.sys", can I state: viamraid = "VIA RAID Controller(Windows XP)"? I've been up and down the .oem file and I can't see anything about viamraid = "whatever". What to do?All help appreciated.Thanks.
IcemanND
What inside the quotes is nothing more than a friendly description. What is in front should be the same as what is after the equal sign in the HardwareIdsDatabase section, and before the equal sign in the SCSI.Load section.I normally use the description value from the Disks section of the txtsetup.oem file. So from the intel driver I used "Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver"[Disks]disk1 = "Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver", iaStor.sys, \
