grpprod
Hi all,I've created a fine nLite installation, except for one minor issue. I accidentaly checked to remove 'application compatibility patch' and it was too late when I noticed it (I had configured my system in detail). Now I get the usual "Database error" in event log. I was wondering, is there a manual way to restore this (eg by registry modification or by downloading something) for me to avoid recreating my nLite installation and reinstalling it? hulkviper
If you need it, then ok ( hope someone can help )But if it is just an error in EventLog it isn't much to worry about. Most of us have errors in EventLog
grpprod
Solved FYI, I just copied the contents of C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch from a full XP installation, and voila, error event stopped appearing. Clearly the patch just removes those files. Edited April 1, 2007 by grpprod
