nmX.Memnoch Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 Yes, it will. I've actually used this method for upgrading to larger drives in a file server. Create a Ghost image of the current drives then pull them out. Next put in the bigger drives, configure the RAID and restore the image. Ghost gives you the option of reconfiguring the partition size when you restore the image.It's worked like a charm for me in the past and as long as you keep the old drives in order then you have a fallback because you can put them back in the server and read the configuration from the drives instead of the controller NVRAM.
