DL.
Don't forget that you will lose USB device detection if you use Minilogon. When is that supposed to happen?I just tested it by plugging in a USB flash drive (in VMware, but still), no problem. Borec
It would be very nice, if I can remove print drivers, but retain PrimoPdf - It would save about 30 MB.
DIGItonium
Thank you sir. Very much appreciated! I'll give it a shot since I try to wait for final versions before doing anything else.

jmbattle
DL, perhaps I should give it another try.I was delighted with my minilogon nLited installation until I plugged in my MP3 player (and portable harddrive). Expecting it to appear as a USB mass storage device, the system attempted to install the drive (the hardware detection icon appeared in the system tray), yet after wait a few moments nothing appeared in the Device Manager. After a little unsuccessful testing, I switched back to the original winlogon, restarted the machine, and the MP3 player was picked up by Device Manager straight away.As I say, it has been perhaps over a year or so since I lasted played with MiniLogon, however I gather there are other issues that at the time had yet to be resolved.Cheers,Jamesx
anonymous_user
good job on the new version Nuhi.and if its alright to request, for nLite 1.4 will more components be removable from Server 2003?
Lemonzest
Having a problem with this build when used with Server 2003 and SP1/SP2 beta's, when running some progs in XP compatibility mode, xp mode is ignored and some apps say "Failed: Redirecting Filesystem" in the error box. an example app to use is http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~skara/files/UsbRate.rar or Logitech's Setpoint, both apps work on 2k3 in XP compatibility mode with previous builds of nLiteedit: Found one of my apps that shows os version when ran, changed compatibility mode to 2000 and it lists correct, changed to xp mode and it still reads as 2003, causing the above apps to fail even in compatibility mode. somehow nlite is messing up the settings somewhere.[Main]Env = 1.3 - 2.0.50727.42.Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service footballking3420
Is there something I'm doing wrong when using the self-extracting installer of 1.3 Final? I extracted it to a folder on my desktop and then installed the Runtime files to that folder, but nLite still won't run. Is it dependent on a certain service or something? hailite
It is the first time I have used nLite.
alcuin
Hi, Ever since v1.2, nLite makes an $OEM$ folder, seemingly for the registry tweaks, even if I specify it not to do OEM Preinstall on the Unattended options general tab. Is this intentional? I need a CD that also allows me to use F6 for the storage drivers. Thanks.
r3incarnat0r
nuhi, thanks for release!thanks! a new final! may i request for hiding the clock on the taskbar? Kiki Burgh, you may Cool, does it mean, that the way how the tweaks are applied is gonna be changed (to make bitreg tweaks working)? Or perhaps all the tweaks of a target binary data will be available and nLite will be able to create the whole binary value?
Alex
Hi all,1.3 is fine, installer permissions in place, but unattended stll have bugs. Why we need user name and full name if owner info is separate? What is the difference bettween user name and full name and where nlite is using rhem?Apart from this soft is just great, thanks nuhi.Alex
tap52384
Hi, Ever since v1.2, nLite makes an $OEM$ folder, seemingly for the registry tweaks, even if I specify it not to do OEM Preinstall on the Unattended options general tab. Is this intentional? I need a CD that also allows me to use F6 for the storage drivers. Thanks.nLite creates a file called cmdlines.txt; this file is used for executing programs at the T-13 stage of setup, if I remember correctly. nLite applies some system settings at this point. Carillo Gallardo
Hi all,ok, i still need to do some more experiments so i cannot give you more details, but with these new nLite final versions (with rc2 everything works fine) seems that inf addons (like Kels cpl and uber packs, or Ricks ccleaner and others) cannot install during my windows 2k3 setup. Integration works perfectly and all the files were placed in my final iso but simply they weren't installed. Only the installation of svcpack addons works great. Have someone of you guys noticed the same problem?Thank you, byezzzps.Thank you Nuhi for your great work!!!
