hulkviper
brokenlove, the best you can do is to only integrate what you need. Integrating all hotfixes can be bad.

nuhi
omeneghe, exactly, I did the exact same thing today and my CD was restarting...I almost lost it then saw this exact thing in the hotfix page, so brokenlove if you already tried restarting all from the clean installation without those 2 hotfixes (or just put ie7 before them) then also I see that you probably didn't sort by the build date?Top should be the oldest. brokenlove
Done . Same restarting I think these two IE7 updates is the problem without those the CD is ok . But why does Microsft offer the option to integrate these if IE7 is needed .
nuhi
brokenlove, I don't get it, were you reading what we told you, don't integrate IE7 hotfixes if you don't integrate IE7 or you will get the restarting issue. You say once that exluding those hotfixes didn't help and now that it did...ah.Your last question is valid and it's hard to believe that you got that prompted by the windows update if you don't have IE7...but anyway I'm glad you found your issue.
