Ambassador
no you can't. If you tried to uninstall it, it would revert back to RP 3.6. in other words, you are stuck.
philly
no you can't. If you tried to uninstall it, it would revert back to RP 3.6. in other words, you are stuck. But the other guys said if i install rp7 it will replace/repair rp3.6, and hence uninstalling would be safe. awergh
if you uninstall rp7 it will restore the rp3.6 files that were the problemthe uninstall just means you dont have anything to lose if you install rp7 over 3.
philly
Surely they're must be someway i can get revolutions off my system??
eidenk
If you haven't got a CD, it's going to be hard. Get yourself a CD on eBay I would suggest. After that you can restore all files modified by rev pack by hand.
philly
hello again...The fact that i have revolutions 98 installed on my pc, will that cause complications if i ever do an upgrade to windows xp?? eidenk
I don't think there should be a particular problem with having revpack and upgrading to XP.Where you might have a problem is that you'll probably need a Win98 CD to put in the CD drive at some point of the XP install and I understand you haven't got one.Don't expect marvels from XP though.I have just finally installed in a virtual machine a full OEM XP Pro SP2 I bought almost a year ago, to do some stability, performance and security tests and I don't think I'll ever actually upgrade to that OS or newer from Microsoft on a real machine.
