Are you trying to copy wpa.dbl from a cd after you formated to bypass activation? wpa.dbl contains many variables, such as disk size, amount of ram, etc. When you format you get a new digital id, and other things that might make wpa.dbl not work. The only time wpa.dbl will work is if youre restoring it to the same install it was made in.-gosh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

neophyte Posted October 6, 2003 Share Posted October 6, 2003 If you've copied wpa.dbl after activation, and restore it to the same computer after a fresh install, and there has had no hardware changes, the same CD key used, etc, will work.
