cowboyy2087 Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) I was wondering how do i edit the Windows Start Bar. When you click the start bar It say what version of Windows your using. I wanted to change it to some other name. How can i do that. Also when i go to the control pannel and click on System it tells me how much memory i have and processor speed but way at the top it tells me what Windows version i have can i change that to whatever text i want. Thanks for any and all help. Edited February 17, 2007 by cowboyy2087
mattofak Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Changing what is displayed in the start bar is pretty easy, you just have to get an alternate skin for windows. Look up skinning here in the forums. As to changing what is displayed in the system info pane, without completly tearing the windows kernel and system files apart (highly stupid) there is no way to change it. I'm not entirely sure why you would want to though either.
